The Very First Dota 2 Model Merging Tutorial

What did I do wrong?
I set parents to the objects in Blender and I exported to SMD. Then, I added meshes in D2 Workshop, I auto generated hitboxes and replaced the materials. But when I move the vmdl_c and vmesh_c files to pack01_dir, in game doesn't show the models merged, just the "error" model. Help, please.

guys this is so helpful!!!!!! but what if I put 1 with immortal items and 1 with normal item, would it be the same to do?

then add the particle scripts to whichever slot you did it on... :wub:

How to merge two vmesh on the same slot? For example,I tried to combine two Rubick's shoulder items,Fantoccini the doll and Tome of the Itinerant Scholar the book on the back. I could not select the 3D mod in Blender.

its the same technique, if you understand the video. but I think if you merge items with different animation its gonna be hard. I'm not sure
