every time i try to import bind_pose.smd it crashes workshop, can some one tell me how to prevent that from happening ? luckly some items have idle animation and they work fine but not the bind_pose

here some tips
(ex: bindpose.dmx animation) -export bindpose.dmx from sfm -import bindpose.dmx to blender -fix rotation (R Z -90) -apply rotation (Ctrl+A Rotation) -export bindpose.dmx (it will be bindpose.001.dmx) -import bindpose.001.dmx -recheck rotation and frames length -export bindpose.001.dmx (it will be bindpose.000.dmx) -import bindpose.000.dmx to workshop (u can rename it) -

oh i clear rotation awesome THANKS A LOT! should i use dmx instead of smd? also run into other problem, getting frustrated, currently trying to make harpoon hook , re-position it properly to be as the original one and attach it to the elbow instead, looks pretty nice, but then particles are not correct, so i had to use bind_pose or idle pose form the hook still a bit offset, trying to use the bracer idle animation and that actually worked perfectly, tested animation while in workshop, they seemed stable, but only in workshop and loadout screen, while in game the particles are moved to the ground again. any fix for that?
also because moved the hook, the model isnt centered not sure how to do that in blender after giving the model proper location, causes the hook animation to be like this i will really appreciate it if you can help me with those Thanks a lot again !

hmm many questions
1. dmx or smd? -i always use DMX for my project, but u can use SMD instead
2. particles error or drop to ground -particles has 3 type; parent, self, self with wearable. parent attach to base model and self/self with wearable attach to items
3. broken hook position while meathook -bones problem

alright, that was helpful , will try to re-attach them, and about the last one with the bones, tried the meathook_hook and change the "render model" for the hook to the original harpoon_hook but still didnt work O_o anyway appreciate your help , a lot of mistakes to make and a lot to learn THANKS again! thanks, bind pose saved me still using bracer bind_pose instead of the hook it self , since it's attached to the elbow the glowing ambient were mess'd up and dont know how to fix them or make a new particle snapshot, but by playing around with the bind_pose fixed the animation for the hook while still the original weapon position remained the same came out pretty good, really appreciate your help CHEERS!
